EDIT: It looks like they showed “The Venue” at 12:00 instead of 12:30, so I missed it! Did anyone happen to catch it?

People in the construction/electrician industry of Anchorage keep perpetuating a rumor that my dad, Floyd, died. It occured to him the other day that it was probably because a local celebrity (the bouncy, large native guy on the street corner that was always waving to people) of the same name passed away right around the time that the talk started. Obviously, someone misunderstood and it was just one of those things that got spread around. I think it’s funny though… My Dad has his own urban legend.

We saw Michael Ian Black last night, and he was fantastic. I wasn’t going to go, since I have been feeling so crappy these last few days, but took a shower a couple hours before hand and was feeling better. Lisa went too, and ended up sitting right in the middle of the front row, while Colin and I were more off to the far side. A few minutes before the show started though, there were still two seats right next to Lisa that were empty, so we went and sat with her. It was well worth the $15 ticket.

Except that he lied about preforming oral sex on all of us. Heh.
