I just saw the obituary for someone I knew in high school. We weren’t actually pals or anything, but we did hang out in a group a couple times. He was super cool.

Summer is here. The grass in the front yard is green and it smells of snapdrogonery again. This morning as I walked out to my freshly waxed vehicle, I noticed dozens of fine, sparkling threads hanging from the monster tree in the front yard, and itsy green caterpillars at the end of each strand.

Alright, so I’m trying to contain myself, but I’m not doing a very good job. I found an original, vintage Herman Miller for Eames chair in town for $100. I’m going to maybe go get it up tomorrow, after some thinking on it.

UPDATE: After some searching on eBay, I’ve found that I can get the same chair in better condition and other colours for less money.
