July 2005

Colin comes home today!

Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Now there’s a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom,
blown on the steel breeze.
Come on you target for faraway laughter,
come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine!
You reached for the secret too soon, you cried for the moon.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Threatened by shadows at night, and exposed in the light.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Well you wore out your welcome with random precision,
rode on the steel breeze.
Come on you raver, you seer of visions,
come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine!

Damn this demanding house and it’s furniture, needing to be LAYED on constantly.

Josh is here! And I didn’t even know he was coming! And we’re hanging out and stuff!

From Urban Outfitters:

1.) Friday night out with Lisa & Ezma, too much booze (in a good way), midnight purchasing of the new Harry Potter, and bowling with Jared and a whole lotta people we don’t know. I think there were moments where I managed to knock a couple pins down and actually pranced

2.) I read HP in a handful of nearly non-stop hours. I am still in a state of mild shock over the events it hurled at my eager mind. I liked it better than book 5, not quite as much as book 4, (for which the movie comes out this November!).

3.) I am down five pounds!

THREE WAYS I AM STILL JUST A KID
1. I watch cartoons.
2. I’m irresponsible with money.
3. I get starstruck.

THREE WAYS I AM ALREADY OLD
1. I’m in the process of buying a condo.
2. Teenagers make me snicker.
3. My body is in a constant state of knottery.

THREE WAYS THAT I’M A STEREOTYPICAL BOY
1. I drink a lot of beer.
2. I don’t like to see men hanging around without all of their clothing.
3. I find driving fun.
